Christ is risen! He is risen, indeed! Alleluia!
Celebrating over 100 years of worship in our community, Trinity Lutheran Church is committed to sharing the gospel, prayer and praise with one another. We encourage, welcome and embrace everyone who walks through our doors to come share in God's love. We hope that you will come and join us as we look forward to what the Lord has planned!
As a Lutheran congregation we accept and teach the Bible-based teachings the Martin Luther restored during the Reformation. These teachings of Luther can be summarized in three short phrases:
Grace Alone: God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebellious and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His only Son, to love the unlovable and redeem the world from sin and the devil.
Faith Alone: His suffering and death is a substitute for all people of all time, as Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for everyone. Those who hear His word and welcome Him into their hearts shall have eternal life. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through him.
Scripture Alone: The bible is God's inerrant and infallible word, in which He reveals his Law and Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the ruling text of all Christian doctrine.
The Holy Trinity we know as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. There is only one God, but that God relates to humanity in three persons. The Father who created the world, the Son who came to redeem us, and the Holy Spirit who remains in the world until the Son returns.
